NimbusHealth's legacy portal was built for appointment scheduling only. As demand for virtual care surged, the platform couldn't support video consults, e-prescriptions, or the compliance requirements of operating across state lines.
We designed a HIPAA-compliant, multi-region architecture on top of Next.js and WebRTC, with AI-assisted intake triage to route patients to the right care team faster. The rollout was phased across regions to avoid disrupting active care.
